Henry Leo was born on November 3, 1924 in Burlington, Vermont. Henry is the twin brother of Nelson.
After the war he was employed as a professional tractor trailer driver for numerous area companies. Henry drove truck for T.A. Haigh Lumber and several other companies in the Burlington area.
Henry served his country honorably with the US Army during WWII in the European Theater.
Henry married Lydia Sweeney on June 12, 1948 in Burlington, Vermont. Lydia was born in 1930 in St. Albans, Vermont and died in Burlington, Vermont.
Henry married Diane Blanchard on Feb 13, 1982 in Burlington, Vermont.
Henry and Lydia had 7 children: 6 sons and 1 daughter, Robert James, Henry Leo Jr. 1948-2008, Joseph Edward, William Francis, Randall Allen Sr. , Kathy Jane, and James John Chagnon.
Henry was a life member of the Howard Plant Post 782, VFW. He enjoyed many things, especially traveling, sightseeing, card playing and simply being with family.
